I am a graduate student at the Univ of South Dakota and am during a thesis/study on player performance from the nfl combine directly relating to draft order. I was wondering if I could get the nfl combine results from the years 2006-2011. I saw you only have 2006 and 2011 up right now. This project is going on right now so I really could use the results ASAP if possible. Thank you
I also have a similar request as one of the poster’s on your NFL Combine website. I am a undergrad student who is doing a term project of the relation between NFL combine results and WR performance in the NFL. I found the data very nice and clean, however I’m not an expert on web scraping, so I wasn’t sure how I could extract the data into a CSV file or at least another delimited file. Is it possible if I could get access to a text file containing all the combine data; that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
I am wondering i know a person that has not had very good look with college football he has seen 3 head coaches in 3 years there is no time for assesment but this guy has been widely overlooked in college ball he plays for kent state university and is a akron university transfer runs a 4.4 in the 40 and bench presses 325. exceptional football player what does a guy like this do to get recongnition.
Since he has NCAA experience he could attend one of the Regional NFL Mini-Combines and hope to impress the scouts there. If that fails, he should try out for practice squads and prove himself through that avenue.
Hi there,
This is very good information. What I would love to see is a way to select a start year and an end year, i.e. results from 2006-2011.
thoughts on this feature?
Thanks
Quick question about this data: does this data contain all college players who participated in the NFL Combines? Or does it only include those players who were actually drafted into the NFL?
Hello, I’m a grad student who is doing a research project on projecting different positions in the NFL. I think you’ve done a great job with the site. However, I was wondering if you could include Arm Length, Hand Size, 20 yard dash, 10 yard dash and the 20 yard shuttle and 60 yard shuttle split up on your main data page. Basically I was hoping you could list all of the attributes you have on the player pages on the main data page so it’d be easier to compile. Perhaps in a csv format if you’re worried about the data table being too big. If its not possible, I could web scrape the data but I’d prefer not too.
Where did the information on your site come from? I can’t find anywhere else that documents combine stats pre 2000. Seems rather strange I have no where else to get pre 2000 combine results on the web. I’m used to being able to cross reference results from multiple sites, but none exist with historical data that far back but yours.
You are correct, these numbers need to be moved to the Pro Day section.
Some pre-1999 numbers are from combines and pro days. This is prior to the electronic timing era, so there is less difference between Combine times and Pro Day times in that they were all hand timed. Now that Pro Day times are available, we are working to clarify the pre-1999 numbers.
Thanks for this amazing resource. Just one note. I saw that there are several duplicates
In 2008
Demetress Bell and Demetrius Bell are the same person in 2008. Demetrius later changed his name to Demetress and attended Northwestern, as such im unsure why there is a Demetress Bell of Michigan State
Same thing for Stevie Johnson. You have a Steve Johnson and a Stevie Johnson. One went to Kentucky and one to Michigan State, the Michigan State one is again the error.
In 2020, there are two Yetur Gross-Matos.
Thought it worth letting you know. Many thanks for your hard work.
Addition of the prep combine is next level, is their any way I can get the raw table this is pulling from? I can sign what ever you need it’s for personal use only. Also willing to compensate you for it.
Thanks! We are adding more data and working on getting a raw table up for Prep Combines similar to the large NFL combine table. This is up next once we get Pro Day scores showing on the NFL Combine Results table.
Hey, some of the older 40 yard dash times are incorrect – for instance, Trindon Holliday is listed with a 4.21 (which was his self-reported time, his official time is 4.34) and Chris Johnson is listed with a 4.30 (he ran an official 4.24)

Hey Brooks, thanks for your comment. I’m working on processing the rest of the data right now and should have it done for you soon.
Edit: All Data is now in the database.

I wanted to share a visualization we put together using the NFL combine results for 2012. This “leaderboard” tool lets you see how players ranked across multiple categories at the same time.

Hi guys – great site. Just wondering when the 10 and 20 yard split times for the 2012 Combine will be up? Looking forward to getting a look at them!

I tried searching for a few players and they were no where to be found.
I searched for James Harrison and Lamar Woodley. Neither are in your database.

The source of the historical combine data is scouting data shared with us by former NFL front office personnel.
Hey there,
Im a developer working to compare draft prospects vs current NFL players and your site has been a god send.
My one question though is, do you happen to have the 2019 Combine participants info available in json?
Or an api I can use to get this information?
Thanks so much
Sorry, unfortunately we do not have that feature available.
wonder site. curious when the pro day data from prior years will be available in sortable table or cvs. thanks. hope you’re well.
Thanks! That is on the list!
Hello, Could you provide some information on the Combine results for Randy Moss? It was reported that he did not attend the NFL Combine.

Hi
When searching for DT and DE, there are no results.
Thanks
Thanks – 2020 Positional Data needs to be tweaked a bit yet.

Hi – How is your grading system working? How is the “Combine Grade” generated? Thanks!
It is a work in progress right now, but essentially looks at percentile scores for the tests we think are most important for each position.
Addition of the prep combine is next level, is their any way I can get the raw table this is pulling from? I can sign what ever you need it’s for personal use only. Also willing to compensate you for it.
